Today Rory and I went for a country walk. I forgot my camera which is too bad because we got up close to farmers clearing their fields and loading up the wagons with threshed? remains of the soy plants. It looked something like this
It was a sunshiny day. The walk was 4k and I could feel it in the top of my legs after running yesterday, felt good though. Then we came home and had leftovers of all the turkey and fixin's and watched Prince of Persia, and so nice to be having tomorrow off too.

Information Overload
Today DH, Shelby and I walked a little over 4k when I got home from a very full day at work. Information overload! So it was great to get out in the late afternoon sun and decompress from the day. It's a great way to spend some quality time with DH. I was a little tired as I didn't sleep well and am still adjusting to being back to work. September is always a crazy month, getting to know new clients, families, staff, routines etc., etc.,
So a nice walk along some farmers' fields was just the ticket to add a little balance to the day.

Mill Walk
Just walking today with dh. It was nice to have some cooler weather.
Here is where we walked.
It is so pretty in this little village. We walked the hilly streets, looking at all the quaint homes and gardens.
Run day tomorrow.

Nihao
So we went for some
yes, for some Chinese food. We walked to the restaurant on this glorious late summer evening, just Papa Bear, Sean and I. The other two boys were wherever young men of that age go on Friday evenings. I stuck to mostly vegetables, a bowl of Wonton Soup and avoided foods that weren't worth the calories. I avoided the dessert table. I may have had some if I really was in the mood, but I really wasn't feeling like dessert, so why bother. There was a time that I would have eaten it just because it was there.
Afterward we walked home while the sun was setting and made a longer loop around the neighborhood.
Sean was kicking a can around the whole way. Remember when that was an irresistible thing to do?
Tomorrow I am going to run, think I'll change up my route a bit.
