Canal Run
Worked today and brought my running gear with me so I could stop here on the way home to run.
It's a hot spot for runners and other sports people i.e. cyclists, and those skis with wheels thingys.
It's along the Rideau Canal and it's where I'll be running the 10K race on New Year's Eve.

This looks like a great run all along the canal. I would love to have something like that near me.

ReplyDeleteI use Paint Shop Pro and do a screen capture, then just save it to a file and upload it to my blog.
ReplyDeleteYou have lots of cool features on you blog that I have no idea how to do. I would love to live near the canal - $$ - but at least I drive right along there on my way home. In the winter it becomes a giant skating rink, so I always keep my skates in my trunk, in case I get a chance to stop by.
The little things I have on my site were very basic. Just let me know what you would want and I will e-mail you to explain how I did it. Thanks for the tip on Paint Shop.
ReplyDeleteAnd my speed was not 20 minutes per km as shown on the garmin results! - I'm slow, but not that slow! It must be reflecting the last speed which was when I stopped running long enough to turn the watch off at the end.
